My name is Song (full name is Songhyun Kim, but just call me Song:-)

and I am also one of the industrial design student from Emily Carr University.

I am originally from South Korea.

I came to Canada when i was 13.

I play guitar.

I love LEGO :-D

I love rainy days.

I love winter.

I like dogs (especially BIG ones!)

My name is Solveig and I am one of the industrial design students that will be working with you this semester. Here are some random facts and images from my life...

- I came to Vancouver three years ago from Norway. 

















- My name translates literally as "Sun Strength" derived from Old Norse Mythology. (Old Norse sól "sun" + Old Norse veig "strength")

- I have two daughters Emma (11) and Lotte (8)

- I have a yorky puppy named Archer

- I used to be a high-school teacher, but went on to work with helicopters before starting my design studies at Emily Carr University 





- I do yoga almost every day



















- When I was 12 I lived in a tent and travelled around Australia for a year



- I don't like gum































- I love beaches

- I miss knowing how to sail, something I did all the time when I was young


































- I like to make things all the time and find things around me that I want to change every day
